            Eric Duval presents ten images of his 1/48 scale Eduard Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D-13 "Weekend Edition" in the Gallery, painted with the Testor Aztek airbrush.
	        Phil Parsons reviews Eduard's 1/48 scale MiG-21MF Weekend Edition, including 42 images of the kit's box top, plastic parts, decals and instructions.
	        Rodger Kelly examines F-4Dable Models "Born in the USA! U.S. built aircraft of the TUDM (Part 1): F/A-18D Hornet", available in both 1/48 and 1/72 scales. Images of the cover, the instructions, decal sheet and reference photos are included.

            Tonight I review Eduard's brand-new 1/72 scale Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat, including 32 images of all the kit's plastic and photo-etched parts, decals and box top, plus a reference photo of the elusive Hellcat "grin".
	        Wingnut Wings has announced that they will will be attending the Scale Models Expo/IPMS(NZ) Nationals in Lower Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand on 20-21 August 2011. As well as displaying examples of many of their upcoming models they will have exclusive pre-release sales of a brand new model which is having its world premiere at this most prestigious New Zealand model show. The subject of the new model will be kept under wraps until the doors open at 10am on Saturday morning. Limit 1 per customer. Only while stocks last. 	        I will be crossing the ditch to attend the IPMS(NZ) Nationals next weekend too, so I will have photos, videos and news from New Zealand as well.

            I have been neglecting my HyperScale updating duties over the last few days because I have been distracted by Tamiya's 1/32 scale P-51D Mustang. What a breathtaking kit! 	        Emmanuel Pernes brings us ten images of Airfix's new 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-4/B in the Gallery.
	        Mark Davies rounds up and evaluates 18 of the newest 1/72 scale accessories and updates from Quickboost. Images of all the resin parts are included.
	        Rob Baumgartner reviews two new EagleCals decal sheets for Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 and the Ta 152 H, available in 1/32, 1/48 and 1/72 scales. Images of the cover and the decal sheets are included.
	        The 2011 IPMS National Convention announces that a group of re-enactors will visit the convention on Saturday, August 6, dressed in mostly in German and American WWII uniforms but also going as far back as those worn in the American Civil War.   The re-enactors plan to bring an Sd.Kfz 251 half-track, some Sd.Kfz 222 scout cars, Jeeps, an M20 half-track, an M3 White half-track and a 45mm Russian anti-tank gun.

            Today I review Tamiya's forthcoming 1/32 scale North American P-51D Mustang, including 77 images of the kit's plastic and multimedia parts, decals, masks and box art. The best Mustang kit in any scale? We have a winner!
	        We have exciting news for modern aficiandos too. Kinetic Model Kits has just announced a forthcoming 1/48 scale C-2A Greyhound, due for release in September. The kit is available for pre-order now from Lucky Model.
		    I will be away from my desk for most of the rest of this week (not building the Mustang unfortunately), so updates will be sporadic.  24 June, 201123 June, 2011
          
            Mick Evans reviews Trumpeter's 1/32 scale Sukhoi Su-25 Frogfoot A. 57 photos of the plastic parts, photo-etch, five decal sheets and box top are included.
            It appears that a few bugs crept into the What's New page HTML over the last few days, mainly I think due to its size. I have now archived the entries from October 2010 to the end of May 2011, and fixed  the other coding problems so the page should load properly. The archived content may still be accessed at the bottom of the page.             We have Preview images of the 2011 IPMS Nationals Decal Sheet, Yankee Station MiG Killers, provided in 1/72 and 1/48 scales. This will be presented to all registered attendees at the Nats, and will be available afterwards from Sprue Brothers.
	        Aleksandar Andric brings us a Construction Feature on his 1/72 scale Dornier Do 17 Ka-3, converted from the RS Models kit. 22 images of the model, under construction and complete, are included.
	        Ron Denning presents five images of his 1/32 scale scratch built Martin PBM-3D Mariner in the Gallery.
	        Mark Davies reviews Resin Art's two new 1/48 scale F-111 replacement wheel sets. Images of the F-111A/D/E/F and F-111 C/G wheels are included.
	        Mick Evans examines OH Models' 1/32 scale decal release, "Foreign Spitfire Mk.IXc/e  Part 1". Images of the cover and the decal sheet are included.For our UK visitors, Margate’s Big Event featuring the Airfix Air Show takes place on this weekend, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June. The Avro Vulcan bomber and the Red Arrows display team will be the main stars of the Airfix Air Show. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be returning to the area again, while the Tigers parachute team will be jumping into the sea off Margate Main Sands.             EagleQuest 2011 is almost upon us again. EagleQuest XX will run from June 23 to June 25, with special guests including noted researcher and prolific author David Doyle, Marcus Nicholls from Tamiya Model Magazine International and Ken Schofeldt of Badger Airbrush fame. You can also meet Matthew Wells, Mike Kirchoff, Mike Mummey, Jef Verswyvel and more. I was lucky enough to attend this show last year, and I had a great time - highly recommended! 	        Tonight I review the third in Japo's Luftwaffe Over Czech Territory 1945 series, "Messerschmitt Me 262s of KG and KG(J) Units". This book includes decals for eleven Me 262s in either 1/72 or 1/48 scales. Images of the cover, sample spreads and the decal sheet are included.
