Griffon Engine Cam Cover
on Spitfire PR.XIX

Here are some of my Spitfire images of the cam covers on the Spitfire Mk XIX with the Griffon engine. These are the same pattern as the later Griffon powered aircraft. 

I thought they may be useful for modellers to correct the Airfix kit as that kit has a 'step' in the forward end of the bulge where it fairs into the main cowling. 

A little filler is all that is needed to correct it, but if you don't have the info then you cannot do it!
