Shark Patrol Signing

Susan and I got together with Bobby Gibbes, Bruce Watson and Ted Sly this morning and they signed my new print "Shark Patrol" in which all three are featured amongst other 457 Sq Spitfire Mk VIIIs.

The top photo shows L-R Ted Sly, Bobby Gibbes & Bruce Watson.

There are 300 regular prints which sell for $180 AUD and 30 artist proofs which sell for $300 AUD with 30% of the proceeds going to the SMDF (Spitfire Memorial Defense Fellowship)

Of course, during the course of the three hour long signing (which included a break for tea and scotch finger biscuits), Susan and I got to hear all kinds of great stories of the three pilots' exploits while flying Hurricanes, Kittyhawks and Spitfires in Europe, North Africa and the Pacific.
