Day One - Setup

The 2004 IPMS Nationals are being held at the Civic Plaza Convention Center in Phoenix Arizona.

Phoenix is in the grip of a hot summer, but IPMS Phoenix officials kept their cool during vendor registration and setup. The hall was a buzz of activity from very early, with trucks driving in between the isles and busy vendors unpacking boxes and stacking tables.

The competition tables were empty early this morning, but registrations for entries has been encouragingly high. Competition tables are conveniently located in the same large hall as the vendors, separated by fabric partitions.

A wide selection of the plastic model industry, vendors and private traders is present, including Revell (with some very interesting test shots), Testor, Eagle Editions, Squadron, Classic Airframes, Black Box, CAM Decals, Belcher Bits and many, many more.
