Introduction

Offered here are general views of different F-5As, Bs, NF-5As,NF-5Bs and RF-5As that have served with the Hellenic Air Force.

My sincere thanks to my very good buddies George Papadimitriou george_v_papadimitriou@hotmail.com)  and Alexandros Anestes aanestes@yahoo.com who have generously offered their help and super-extensive photo library for the purposes of making, building, and detailing the F-5 family of kits.

The images here are to be used for your modeling fun but if you need to reproduce them please contact the names above for access to the large scale/large resolution images.

General Notes.

Note that the NF-5As are very different in many detail areas (front landing gear and chaff-flair dispensers for example).

F-5As using the blue-gray/silver scheme can be seen clean or very weathered. Modeler's heaven!
Ghost scheme. Note that the 89092 bird that is depicted in the Classic Airframes decal sheet, did not have the orange walkways on the wings. Speaking of orange, note that the warning stencils are not red but orange.

Jordanian scheme. This was a very short-lived appearance since the aircraft were repainted soon after delivery.

RF-5A and F-5A commemorative schemes. Both were done for the retirement ceremonies. Now they rest in museums.

I am sure I am forgetting important details here so feel free to contact me if you need more info.

Do not contact me if you have questions about dog-fights and Turkish-Greek incidents!
