Starter Handle

The starter handle on the FW190A8 was protected by a folding cover-plate. The inscription translates as: "Starter. Operation only when engine is CLEAR". Pulling on the T-handle engaged the electrical starter which was powered by an external 24 volt power supply or by the aircraft's own batteries.
