Description

Here is an F-14B Upgrade assigned to VF-103 attached to CVW 17 with an F/A-18C and an EA-6B in the background while on detachment at Fallon Nevada for air wing training.

In the title picture it is a little hard to see is how VF-103 paints the nose camouflage demarcation line. It wraps around under the radome. The shot below shows the demarcation a little better.

We are now allowed to paint the Lantirn pods to match our tactical paint scheme instead of leaving the pods in the dark gunship "Strike Eagle" gray scheme in which they were delivered.

The tail markings (below) illustrate the number of awards the Jolly Rogers garnered last year - Battle E, Clifton, and SecDef Phoenix award for maintenance.
